I absolutely love this product, along with its conditioner. About a month after I went blonde, I used this product and people kept asking me if I had dyed my hair again and were saying that it looked brighter and blonder. I loved that I actually got noticable results from this and I would definitely recommend it to all my blondie friends!

I get a lot of compliments on the color of my hair and I believe it is because I use this shampoo. I do not color my hair but the highlights keep me looking blonde at age 71! However, my hair stylist recently asked me if I changed hair products because my hair suddenly looked “yellow”. I hope you haven't changed the formula on this shampoo because I don't want it to look like I color my hair. I have been so happy with the natural look afforded me through the use of your shampoo.

Dear John Frieda, Please don't change this shampoo, don't alter the formula in any way, don't create a "new and improved" version, and please don't ever discontinue it! This leaves my hair clean, soft, shiny, and as a bonus tames some of the frizzies. As long as you make it I'll buy it.

Been using this shamppo for ages now, and I've tried other brands but none of them work as well as John Frieda. I also use their conditioner, and I don't know what I would do if they ever took these products off the market.

Bought this thinking "It can't hurt to try" and wow! My dark blonde hair is restored! It was looking mousy brown and dull, one wash with this shampoo and my hair looks mid summer gorgeous. All my natural highlights are radiant and show the full spectrum of blonde. I will be going back to buy the conditioner and some styling products as well. I am so happy that there are products that help my natural blonde hair shine without having to bleach or dye.

Bad silicon!

This shampoo I feel is absolutely horrible. My hair did not feel a bit clean after a double wash. I wondered how was it removing dulling residue to bring highlights back? I dried my hair as usual and was trying to see any difference, I did not! I should have read the ingredients list first! It has dimethicone in it! One of the bad non water soluble silicones which can cause buildup on your scalp and make roots look greasy and cause dry brittle hair. Well now there's $10 in the trash can!

I thought I was buying the brightening shampoo when the app made it seem that is all Walmart sold. No longer trust Walmart or their app

First, let me start by saying I am a creature of habit with my hair. I have gone to the same hairdresser for the last eight years. We never change my highlighting formula. My hair for my age, 69, has no gray, has always been in amazing shape and for me, simpler is better. I am a dark blonde who has used one up and two up highlighting for the last 25+ years and a lover of the previous John Frieda Sheer Blonde for Lighter Blondes Shampoo and Conditioner. They are the only products I have used since they were first introduced a very long time ago, and used exclusively. I always bought in larger amounts as access wasn't easy for me. In the recent order I placed, the products are no longer the same. My previously shiny, silky blonde hair is no longer shiny and silky, my highlights not lasting the same length of time or staying true to color, and I have an itchy area on the top of my scalp. The new shampoo formula doesn't lather up like the original, it's more white in color versus the somewhat more translucent previous formula. There are not good options for the large market of blondes and this was a go to product without hesitation. People would stop me in stores and while outing about, and ask me what I used as my hair was so shiny. And, the only two products I used were the Sheer Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner, nothing else! When my husband of 40 years recently asked me "what's changed in your hair care" about 5 weeks after my most recent highlights, the only answer was the change by John Frieda to the products I have used for years. He is the one that encouraged me to write. Please, please, please...give us back the good stuff!!
